The 1955 Ford Crown Victoria was quite a design when it came out and it stops people in their tracks more than ever today!  The 1955-1956 Fords are now regarded as one of the most beautiful and collectible cars of the 1950s and the Crown Victoria is Queen of them all!

This Ford was owned by a fellow collector for many years before my parents acquired it.  The original 272 V8 runs great.  It starts and runs very well, idles smooth, and makes good power.  The transmission shifts and operates well.  It has working gauges and lights.  The original radio and clock are believed to be not working at this time.  The car still has the original 6 volt system which starts and operates very well.
The car looks wonderful both inside and out.  The exterior paint in the original colors of Tropical Rose and Snow Shoe White is very shiny and attractive.  It is believed that the Snow Shoe White may be the factory original paint and that the Tropical Rose color was repainted at some point in the past.  There is some lacquer check present in the original white paint and no signs of repaint present.  Other than the lacquer check, and a few very minor flaws, the paint is quite nice as it is.  The chrome and stainless appears to be either restored or exceptional original.  The interior is very nice with a very nice steering wheel, horn ring, dash, and gauges (all of the chrome inside looks great also).  Engine bay and trunk are both clean and tidy.  The doors, hood, trunk all open and close nicely and all of the body panels line up very well.  Underneath the car looks good and solid as you would expect.  Overall, the car presents itself well and is nice enough to win a trophy at some of the car shows you attend.  This is a very rare and hard to find car these days with these colors!
