Whip Length (Max) : 53 Inches, a very nice Tapered 17-7 Black-Kote Stainless Whip! The whip collar has two set screws to hold it securely.

High Power design of 300 Watts
. Stainless steel tapered 17-7 Black-Kote whip and a sleek looking black base. End Feed 5/8 Wave design assures excellent gain (3 dB) and low picket fencing when your vehicle is moving. Tunable frequency range is 136 - 174 MHz so it is usable for Ham Radio and Land Mobile applications. Commercial grade construction. Midland calls the Black-Kote whip and black coil a Disquise Design and we agree, it does look good on most vehicles.
This antenna does a good job with today's modern higher powered radios or radios with amps. It does a great job, looks great and is modestly priced. You will need a NMO mount (not supplied).
Shipping is a bit more than our other antennas as the whip is longer.
