This is the latest revision of S+RJ10 (contains "/r2" by the end of serial number). It comes with the following (vs. r1):
- Jumbo frames up to 10218 Bytes are supported for rates 2.5Gbps, 5Gbps and 10Gbps;
- DDM monitoring (Supply Voltage, Module temperature) is supported.
Since these puppies get hot, we modded them and added a copper heatsink on top, glued with thermal epoxy. It keeps the module ~5 degrees cooler. It doesn't prevent the modules from getting inserted in a switch (obviously), but it could get in the way of other ports. We still recommend using active cooling with 10G RJ45 SFP+ modules, and MikroTik recommends spacing them to avoid overheating (see https://wiki.mikrotik.com/wiki/S%2BRJ10_general_guidance for details).
Tested on a MikroTik switch with SFP+ ports. No guarantees it works with other switch brands.
