    Hand Crafted Australian Aboriginal Carving of an Echidna Created from Native Wood.
    Circa: Mid-20th Century
    13 1/4 inches (33.7 cm) long x 6 inches (15.3 cm) wide x 3 1/4 inches (8.3 cm) high
    Condition: Very Good: There seems to be some losses to the spines. They are sharp and pointed.
    Description: This older rare aboriginal carving was collected by a Berkeley, California ethnographer while traveling in Northern Australia in 1994 and purchased in a gallery in Cairns, Queensland, Australia. When this traveler returned to Cairns a decade later, this gallery was no longer in Cairns.
