Item for Sale:
The AEA/ Spectral Isopole is a 3dB gain, omni-directional antenna. It covers 135-160 MHz and is rated at 1000 Watts. Auction includes Antenna, Mast and Side Mount.
Background:
I am selling this item for a widow of a silent key and friend who recently passed away in June of 2021. He was an Electrical Engineer for a company that manufactured Broadcast Television VHF & UHF Transmitters where I worked with him for many years.
This item is mounted on the back of his residence.  He took very good care of his equipment and he used it up until the time that he passed away. I haven't had the opportunity to test each item, so it is being sold "
AS-IS
". I performed a quick inventory of each item and took at least (1) photograph of each item. If I had the finances and space, I would have purchased many of the items in his collection.
He used this antenna with an Icom IC-271A, 2 Meter Transceiver (also up for auction on eBay).
To prevent damage during shipping, we are selling it for
LOCAL PICKUP ONLY
. Buyer will be responsible for removing antenna and mount from the residence. We will provide a ladder and necessary tools for its removal.
We will provide a copy of the instruction manual in a 3-hole folder but we'll be more than happy to provide the original manual should we find it before pickup.
