    Description

    Antique 1930’s Native American Navajo Twill Weave Rug 30”X 58”.
    Colored are Ganado Red, Black, Tan, White.
    I bought this Rug in 1974 from a Navajo Family. They told me this Rug was made by there Grandmother in the 30’s. My mother in law new this people. That’s how I came about this rug and many others. As she was a BIA Agent back then. So I would go with her to the tribes, pebbles often.
    U will see a spot where the weaving has come apart the true is I bought it that way. U will see a red spot on the rug that is from a wine stain. would never take my rugs some where to get cleaned never trusted anyone with them.. so it’s still there.
    U will see some other little place on the pics. This rug had looked this way for the whole time I have had it all but the wine stain.
    I used this rug with most of all of them up until 2013 I packed them up. All of my rugs are rolled up never been folded.
