Antique Original Rare Michaels-Stern Men’s Clothiers Rochester NY Bronze Sign. Condition is Used. Shipped with USPS Priority Mail. 15.5” x 12”. AMAZING ANTIQUE BRONZE SIGN. Here’s the history on the co: Michaels, Stern, and Co. was a Rochester-based manufacturer of men's tailored suits and apparel. The company was founded in 1849 by Henry Michaels (1822–1894). After several name changes and changes in partnership, the company became known as Michaels-Stern & Co. when Henry Michael's son-in-law Morley A. Stern joined as a partner in 1877. The company was liquidated in 1977.
Sign was placed onto the building in the late 1870s and removed post-liquidation in 1970s. This sign is over 140 years old!! Guaranteed Original. Don’t miss out on this one..
