Abou Abdillah Muhammad ibn Salih ibn Muhammad ibn Uthaymin at-Tamimi (1926-2001) fut l'une des personnalités religieuses saoudiennes les plus notoires. Né en Arabie saoudite, il mémorisa le Coran dès le plus jeune âge. Il fut entre autres l'élève du cheikh Abd ar-Rahman ibn Nasir as-Sadi, ainsi que de 'Abdal-Aziz Ibn Abdullah Ibn Baz et Mohammed ash-Shanqîtî. Durant ses années d'études, il devint mondialement connu pour ses connaissances supérieures dans le fiqh, domaine dans lequel il écrit plus de cinquante livres.
