    Description

Beautiful Polynesian Pacific Island Round Tapa Bark Cloth, Suva Fiji 1968
From an upstate, NY estate. Purchased by the estate at a market in Suva, Fiji on August 29, 1968. Beautiful and rare round shape hand painted tapa cloth or bark cloth.
    Measures approx 41” in diameter.
VG condition overall. Has some wear to dye process in places, most notably at the center, where it appears to have been stored folded for a time. There is a small 1” x approx 1.25” piece torn from the edge. Displays beautifully.
