This is among the first fully reproduced sets of Cars & Concepts California T-Top interior headliner trim pieces for vintage Trans Am and Firebird. This sale is for a 4-piece set. Purchaser can expect to make minor modifications, including but not limited to filing. sanding and drilling in order to make a compatible fit with your headliner. Photo #10 is a composite showing the fit of replica pieces on an actual Trans Am, after sanding, filing and painting.

To color match reproductions to your interior, follow these guidelines:
Lightly sand pieces and file so that they fit on your A-pillar.
Drill out the center holes on the Y piece.
Once you verify the fit with the interior headliner pieces, spray with primer.
Allow to fully dry, followed by light sanding.
Spray with one more coating of primer and let dry.
Use color match interior vinyl dye to spray each piece at least 3 coats.
Make sure to get the angles and interior crevices.
Fit and install with screws.
IMPORTANT NOTE: These reproduced 3D pieces are estimated to be 95% of the originals. The originals have a spongy texture; the 3D replications DO NOT HAVE the spongy texture of the originals. Please understand that nothing is as perfect as the original trim pieces by C&C. As vintage car enthusiasts, we hope you understand that original parts are RARE and so many have been damaged by sun, age and other conditions.
RESIN OPTION
: If you are doing a show-quality installation on your vintage vehicle, and the 95% estimated match is not good enough, we can create and print these pieces in RESIN. The price point for RESIN T-Top parts is higher as the piece is heavier, textured and more substantial (see the comparison photos--the last 2). Also the manufacturing process takes additional time. The last 2 photos show the three (3) front pieces side by side. The resin parts are shown in the center. We estimate that resin pieces are a 97%  match to the original. Also, resin is significantly stronger and more UV-resistant. They also take the primer better, as well as the interior dye. However, these 3D replicas will also need some light sanding to fit into your headliner pieces and rail. Please contact us via eBay message service should you prefer the resin option. We will create a special BIN listing.
