Decibel Products DB252 VHF 8dB Gain Corner Reflector Antenna (2M Compatible)

Description

This listing is for a Decibel Products DB252 corner reflector antenna. The unidirectional design gives it 8dB of gain over a dipole and 25dB front to back ratio (see specification sheet in the pictures).
The manufacturer's label shows 155.73 MHz but a frequency sweep of the antenna shows that it is quite broadband largely due to the loop design of the driven elements. It's also usable on the 2 meter (144-148) amateur band with short extensions to the driven dipole element (see analyzer pics). It's also adaptable to operate on the 156-157 MHz marine band.
The only items not included are the mount and screws but this gives the buyer more flexibility and keeps the cost down. Normally, six 5/16"-18 x 3" and four 5/16"-18 x 2-1/4" screws, washers, and nuts would be used, stainless steel for outdoor or less expensive hardware if mounted indoor such as in an attic.
UPDATE: This item can now be shipped USPS Parcel Select. The buyer also has the option to ship it via FedEx or UPS if you have an account with these shippers. In that case, there would be a cost savings by selecting "Local Pickup", then the antenna would be brought to the FedEx or UPS store here in town (zip code 06831) for packaging and shipping. The box would be 55" x 50" x 6" and 25 lbs.
