    This auction is for a
    genuine Nortel
    (not a generic import) fiber/fibre transceiver.  Like all of my transceivers, these were installed only once, worked until switch stack was replaced by 10 GbE, then pulled and placed into the anti-static package ready to be shipped.  MATCHED PAIRS have the best compatibility with each other and generally have the best throughput.  Mixing and matching sometimes works and sometimes doesn't.  Off-brand and generics also tend to have compatibility issues in my experience.
