DESCRIPTION:
This piece is an authentic vintage 1950s Paete Laguna hand carved wooden bookend sculpture of a Bontoc Igorot Tribal Warrior / Headhunter,
The Filipino man is captured in traditional wear including a pipe in the headband of his rattan basket-style hat. This would make the perfect addition to any South Pacific or Tropical Island Tiki decor as either a book end or art statue.
