In response to all ham request here is our new NVIS (Near Vertical Incidence Skywave) antenna system. This is not a DX antenna! NVIS antennas were designed for local communication of around 300 +/- miles (dx are possible but very limited).
This is a simple but yet very effective NVIS antenna for 40m/60m/80m. Build from 2 short non-resonant dipoles for 40m (27Ft aprox) and 80m (40Ft aprox). 80M elements can be easily tuned for 60m operation. Frequency coverage 3-20Mhz with the use of an antenna tuner (NVIS skip effect occurs below 10Mhz). This antenna REQUIRE an external tuner for proper operation. Installation in a non metalic pole or mast is recommended. You must provide your own mast or pole for installation. Antenna wire elements are #18 awg stranded wire. Antenna connector is SO239. 50 ohms coax is required. 4 tent stakes included. Power handling 200W PEP.
In this introductory offer we are including an internal 1:1 choke balun to improve antenna radiation pattern, keep rf and electrical noises out of your station. Antenna high must be around 10-15 Ft but not more or you will lose the NVIS performance.
This is the perfect antenna for ECOMM, M.A.R.S. operation, emergencies situations or drills. Installation takes only a few minutes. Space required for installation is around 45 ft for each antenna wire elements.
Why pay hundreds of dollars for a military branded NVIS antenna if you can get the same results with this design for less. Limited quantities available.
