    Howe operated under 2 names, but the card does not give any formal name, so I could not narrow it down that way.

    I spent time investigating when the 23 companies on flip side began to manufacture sewing machines and came up with card being published between 1872 and 1875.  Remington operated 1872 to 1875.  Also earliest is 1872 due to startup of Victor and manufacture of Wheeler & Wilson #6 that year.
