Notes for antenna use:
1. The assembly sequence of each oscillator of the antenna is as follows: connecting seat - two aluminum tubes - inductive coil - pull rod antenna
2. If you use a talent meter with low transmission power, do not coil the feeder into a circle, but open all the feeders, otherwise the adjustment of standing wave will be affected, and the talent meter with higher power will not matter
3. The first turn is on the side of the antenna near the pull rod. Count from the side with the screw of the fixed coil, and do not count the half turn with the screw
5. When adjusting standing wave, under the condition of the instrument, first find the lowest point of standing wave, see whether the resonance frequency is high or low, if the resonance frequency is high, the antenna is short, want to lengthen the pull rod antenna or increase the number of inductance coil, shorten the pull rod antenna or reduce the number of inductance coil
It is suggested to adjust the inductor coil and pull rod antenna on one side of the black line first instead of adjusting the oscillators on both sides
If you don't have a talent meter, use the station's own standing-wave meter, set it in FM, AM or RTTY mode, reduce the transmission power to about 10 watts, press the launch button, adjust the radio frequency knob, find the minimum point of standing wave on each frequency band, see the resonance frequency, and then use the appeal method to adjust
Reference data:
40m band: 7.050- the red coil starts the 5th turn from the aluminum tube side, and the black coil also starts the 10th turn from the aluminum tube side. Note: the half circle with one screw does not count. The antenna of the pull rod on both sides is pulled out 7.050 standing wave 1.2-1.5
20-meter band: 14.270-red wire coil starts from one side of the pull rod antenna for a count of 5 turns, and all 10 sections of the pull rod antenna are pulled out
The black wire coil also counted the 11th turn from one side of the pull rod antenna, and all 10 sections of the pull rod antenna were pulled out at 8cm
