Description
This unique piece of Fijian wood carving is truly spectacular. 30in in length and beautifully hand carved in the Fiji islands. Traditionally used in ancient pacific ceremonies and not in warfare. Usually held by chiefs or priests it symbolised status with in the community.This is one of the finest carved Fijian clubs that was often very rare and highly collectable. This piece has been hand crafted with Vesi timber, also known as Johnstone River teak, Pacific teak or scrub mahogany. It has a beautiful hard wood grain and strong weighted finish. Now highly respected as an amazing addition to home decor or a special occasion gift.
