This is a new addition to my 9:1 type 43 ferrite unun line. This one looks to be one of my best performing ones yet! It consists of two stacked toroidal cores. With a 65 ft sloper, I'm seeing excellent VSWR readings on 40 and 20 meters. 1.2-1 and 1.1-1 respectively. Long wire may need to be trimmed to get those numbers in the center of each band as well as angle of sloper and proximity to the ground. Ground capacitance does play a roll. But once you dial in the length, that's the only run you'll need. Also got very respectable numbers on 15 and 10 but with sharper tuning. Comes with a 3:1 turns ratio which equates to a 9:1 impedance ratio. Seems to work the best for the above wire length but remember, my ununs are designed to be variable. In this case, this one ratio is good on a several bands with the use of a tuner. No cap is needed either.Note, I lost my source of the cores I was using on this unun. I have found a suitable replacement that works as well, if not better. Notice the 2:1 turns ratio. Best all around performance. Due to added cost of cores, (and added size). I was forced to adjust the price I charge.
