The Newson Clableless & Safety Lock Elevator Company was formed by Charles Newson in 1912 in Salt Lake City, Utah. The company manufactured elevators in their machine shop-factory in Salt Lake City, at 638 West 3rd North Street, with a separate sales and offices (see attached photos of their elevator, factory, and sales office, ca. 1912).
