This is a nice hand carved wood art sculpture tribal ethnic suspension hook wood carving (see photos). The item is made of carved wood (see photos). The item has a nice carved decoration in the figure of a man and some crocodiles(see photos). The item is the work of a talented artist (see photos). In total the item measures over 3 feet high and it is about 7 and 3/4ths inches wide. The item is not marked by a maker, but it looks to be Oceanic in origin to me probably New Guinea Sepik River region (see photos and decide the age, the origin and the maker). The item is sold in as found condition. The item has damages, broken and re-glued legs, chips to the wood, losses, some scuffs, some scratches, some finish losses and some other signs of wear (see photos and / or written description for the condition of this item). This item would be a nice addition to your collection.
