    I have tested 100% of these antennas on both the VHF and UHF Ham bands for performance. They vary a bit, but stay under SWR of ~2 in free space with no ground plane. (similar to handheld operation) Please see the plots from my antenna analyzer to show relative SWR performance. These are not absolute numbers under all conditions, but it shows that the antenna is not shorted or open like many for sale online which can destroy your radio when you key it up.
    If you ever broken an original Baofeng antenna, you probably bought one online to replace it. You may have even struggled to find the original 4.75" version. Or maybe you were disappointed with all the replacements. I have purchased 2 types from 3 vendors and all of them were high impedance on the entire VHF 2m band. So I bought an entire lot and tested them for myself. These are definitely higher quality like the original, and they work!!!
