Description
Quad-element 11 meter (CB Radio Band) dipole-style antenna. 2 of the elements connect with the center conductor, and 2 of them connect with the ground side. All 4 elements are a half-wavelength each, all measuring approximately 17 feet, 4.2 inches (17' 4.2”) each. The pattern of how the elements pop out of the center insulator are adjacent to each other, not across from each other, so if you picture it as a clock, you would have center-side elements at 12:00 and 3:00, and then shielded-side elements at 6:00 and 9:00. This allows for it to have two perpendicular radiation patterns when all elements are stretched out straight from where they come out of the center.
It is made from high quality 16 AWG stranded insulated wire. Color of wire insulation varies. Please keep in mind that this particular model is an uncommon element configuration and is for experimenting with different wave propagations. It is effectively a double full-wave, so it will most likely run at a higher impedance which would necessitate it to be fed with a higher impedance feed like twin lead/ladder line. If you are intending on using a low loss feed like RG8, 8x, 58, or 213 coax, you would want to opt for a half-wave dipole.
Thanks for looking!
I know there are so many listings and varieties that I have posted now, so if you're not seeing the antenna size or fan combination that you're looking for, just message me and I will give you a quote... or I'll give you the item number to punch in, if it happens to be one I already have posted somewhere out here.
