RARE 1886 ANTIQUE ENTERPRISE MEAT CHOPPER GRINDER #12 TABLE MOUNT CRANK HANDLERARE 1886 ANTIQUE ENTERPRISE MEAT CHOPPER GRINDER #12 TABLE MOUNT CRANK HANDLE
This Rare Antique Enterprise Meat Chopper Grinder Improved No. 12 dated 1886 was made by Enterprise Mfg., Co., of Philadelphia. This table mount model is made of Cast Iron and unlike most other Enterprise Choppers I have seen, this one is painted Yellow, Red and Green, not only have I not seen others painted like this, I also so no others with the same markings on the top. Its 9 1/2” long including the handle but not the wood knob at the end of the handle, its 5” tall, and 5” wide at the base across the feet. The flared funnel you feed your meat through is 4 3/4” by 3 3/4” around the oval rim, and the grinding disc is 3” wide. The red screw on cap is marked SCREW THIS RING UP TIGHT in raised letters and fortunately it is easy to remove for cleaning. Not sure how long ago it was used, but I see no reason why it couldn’t be put to work once given a thorough cleaning. The green curved handle is 8” long and is easy to remove to allow for removal of the grinding unit, and I will be taking it all apart for shipping to allow for a smaller box. There is a lot of chipping in the paint, evidence it was once used a lot, but overall its in very good Antique condition. I have many other unique Antique and Vintage Collectible items listed on Ebay right now including other Antique and Vintage items for your Kitchen, so please be sure to check them all out.
A Message to all my Valued Ebay Followers: I wanted to assure any who are considering making a purchase with me, at this time I am healthy and sheltered in place and at very low risk of exposure. I hope and trust we will all choose to be safe and smart so that we not only protect ourselves but those we love and care for, or those who we don't know but who love and care for someone else - we are all connected somehow.
