    Very Fine Hand Crafted Priest’s Oil Dish, “Sedreniwaiwai”, from Fiji Carved from Native Hardwood (Vesi Wood) with Two Carved Faces

    Description: The Sedreniwaiwai was used by native Fijian priests to hold oil used in votive ceremonies. This one, purchased at a local auction, has the finest carving of any object of this type that I have ever seen.
