    Description

    Vintage 1940's Stanford University Indian Mascot Felt Patch -- whimsical 1940's Stanford University "The Indian" mascot jacket / sweater patch. This original Indian Brave patch measures: 7-3/4" tall x 3-1/2" wide. The backing is made of heavy, wool, burgundy felt with the front design done is a thick, fuzzy-napped, raised detail in light-burgundy, fleshy-color, white, gold and black colors. It does not appear that this patch was sewn onto a sweater, jacket or other item. There is a slight crease where the feather may have been bent slightly.  It is in good vintage condition.
