A 1/4 wave design antenna suitable for frequencies from 132 to 512+ MHz. This Black antenna looks great on your vehicle. Nice heavy design and none of that flimsy thin whip of the cheaper antennas. Has a nice gold plated NMO pin connector for best performance. If your ride is black, this antenna really looks great!
1/4 wave antennas exhibit about a 45 degree angle of radiation when used with a suitable ground surface or vehicle roof. They are favored where one might be in a downtown area with tall buildings due to the high angle of radiation allowing your signal to get out. Same can be said for being in valleys in the mountains.
200 Watt power handling!
This antenna will work well up into the 940 MHz range of operation by cutting the whip.
