    Description

    Unusual carved wooden Easter Island Moai kavakava figure in a kneeling or squatting pose.  This is a hybrid between the typical emaciated Moai Kavakava figures and the Tukuturi Moai which is the only Moai on the island in a kneeling position.  This piece is nicely carved and measures 10 3/4" tall.  Nice condition.  No markings.  Approximately 50 years old.
