    Description

    This listing is for a 12" carved wood head, with a mask-like face.  I don't have any background on this piece.. I bought it years ago at an estate sale.  The wood is blonde and extremely dense, similar to woods I've seen in pacific island / oceana masks.
    The condition is nice with a natural fissure in the wood : a small hairline crack radiates out of the knot hole on the forehead.
