Up for auction is this beautifully hand-carved vintage Atua Polynesian god statue sculpture figurine which stands on its own. A nice tiki totem god with expressive eyes and mouth and hands calmly resting on the sides of his belly.
Nice stylistic features and in great overall condition. Back has the word RAROTONGA which is the god this depicts and likely originating from the Cook Islands.
Measures 6.1” inches tall, 3.1” inches long, and 1.3” inches thick at its thickest part near the forehead (15.5 cm, 7.9 cm, 3.3 cm).
