    Description

This is for a No. 51 Climax Food Chopper. The chopper is approx. 8 5/8 inches long and the handle 9 1/4 inches. The metal has patina, tarnish, and some surface rust. The wood handle has scratches and discoloration. I don't think it is set up correctly because I have to loosen the wingnut to turn the handle but it just tightens itself back up and the handle won't turn. It may be missing a piece by the wingnut, but I'm not sure. What you see is what you will receive.
This item weighs approx. 3 lb. 8.9 oz. before a box or any packing materials so it will cost a bit to ship.
Please review all photos carefully as they are part of the description.
I get it. Shipping prices stink—for buyers and sellers, alike. They keep going up and it’s frustrating. None of us can control it. However, I only charge you what I am charged by the carrier. I have the receipts to show eBay. So, by bidding, you agree to the
    displayed
shipping charges. If not, feel free to buy the item from someone else.
    ·
    Displayed delivery dates are
    estimates and are not guaranteed
    .
I don’t personally escort your item to you. I relinquish custody of your item to the carrier and I can’t control what they do with it once they have the package. I will open inquiries for you if it is taking too long and report to you what I’m told by the carrier but I still don’t have control over your item.
    ·
eBay requires tracking numbers to prove the items have shipped to maintain seller standing. A stamp does not come with a tracking number. Everything must ship as a package to provide a tracking number.
    ·
    I combine shipping
    when possible
. Some items are too large and/or heavy to ship together.
    ·
Unpaid items will be canceled as soon as eBay allows me to
    unless you contact me first
. I will hold items to combine shipping later. Just let me know.
    ·
I do not accept offers on any of my auctions or end them early.
    ·
I ship to verified addresses only. I will
cancel the order if asked to ship to a different address
since it is a violation of eBay's rules.
    ·
Refunds for returns or damages will be for the
original purchase price less the original shipping charges you paid
. If this does not work for you, feel free to buy the item from someone else.
    Thanks for looking.
    ******A NOTE ON SHIPPING******
Directly from United States Postal Service:
Any package with a side greater than 22 inches but less than 30 inches has a
    surcharge
    added directly by the USPS.
Any package with a side 30 inches or longer, or is greater than 2 cubic feet in volume, has a
    surcharge
    added directly by the USPS.
    "
    Dimensional Weight:
The dimensional weight price may be applied to Priority Mail® parcels, USPS Retail Ground parcels, Parcel Select parcels, and Global Express Guaranteed® parcels, but use and calculation of that price is different for those mail classes.
    ·
The calculated dimensional weight may be applied if the package exceeds 1 cubic foot in volume.
Postage price of the item is based on the actual weight OR the calculated dimensional weight, whichever is greater.
"Determining Dimensional Weight for Rectangular Parcels
Follow these steps to determine the dimensional weight for a rectangular parcel:
    a.  Measure the length, width, and height in inches. Round off each measurement to the nearest whole inch.
    b.  Multiply the length by the width by the height.
    c.   If the result exceeds 1,728 cubic inches, divide the result by 166 and round up to the next whole number to determine the dimensional weight in pounds.
    d.  If the dimensional weight exceeds 70 pounds, the customer pays the 70-pound price."
FedEx and UPS use dimensional weight on all packages, when applicable.
Therefore, just because an item is light
does not mean it won’t cost much to ship.
If that light item is physically large, requiring a box larger than 1 cubic foot, the shipping providers may use
    dimensional weight
to determine cost, not the package’s
    actual physical weight
