    Description

    This is one heavy meat grinder!
    Weighs almost 8 lbs before shipping
    .  The No. 7000 size appears to be rare as we could not find any others listed anywhere.  It was sold by Hibbard, Spencer, Bartlett Co. of Chicago (predecessors of the True Value brand) under the O-V-B brand (Our Very Best).  The history of this hardware distribution company is quite interesting and can be found on the MadeInChicagoMuseum website,  Hibbard, Spencer, Bartlett & Co., est. 1855 page.
    The company went out of business in 1962.

    One lobe is broken off the thumb nut, but does not hinder function (see picture #7)
