Vintage Pacific Island Hand Carved Wooden Slit Gong Drum

Description

This is what appears to be a fantastic vintage Pacific Island hand carved slit gong drum although to be honest it may just as well be a modern reproduction of just a statue . The inside of the drum was burned out to form the sound box and is hand painted, in excellent condition.
The dimensions are 40.5" tall, the circumference of the drum at the widest point totals 17 inches. The  weight is 13 pounds.
