Featured here is a vintage Purinton Slipware honey pourer pitcher from the 1950's in their Morning Glory pattern. Immediately recognizable for it unusual shape, handle, and spout, this honey pourer is made to allow for honey distribution in a quick and efficient manner. The weight and handle shape lets you hold it for the dozen or so seconds it takes for the honey to flow forth. The morning glory pattern is handpainted with a blue flower and yellow center on a stalk of green leaves with a red bud. A small leaf rests on each side of the spout as well.It is in good condition, with only some scuffs and marks, and shelf wear on the underside. See pictures for closer detail.
Measures 6.5" tall, 5 3/8" from handle to spout, and just under 4" wide.
