Complete Vintage Ritter Hand Crank Meat Slicer with Counter Attachments
Very well made, German construction, metal slicer with a complete set of parts.
Blade is adjustable to desired slices from paper thin to thick.
The rubber feet on the heavy unit inhibit sliding on the counter.
In case you would prefer the unit to be secured however, there are attachments that are adjustable to the counter thickness.
The bottom plate on the unit flips out to accommodate the chrome food tray which clips in on two rails.
The chrome spiked food grip slides on top of the food tray so one-handed pushing of the meat is easy and keeps the hands safe from the blade.
The 7 1/2” blade is still ultra sharp and shiny with the stainless steel patent mark.
Turning mechanism with the wooden handle and metal hand crank is very smooth and easy.
There are no plastic parts.
This meat slicer is a heavy, quality product that has stood the test of time.
My grandmother used this unit on her farm in Phoenix, AZ.
I have a second slicer of the same model that I use on deli meats, roasts, and BBQ meats.
It is often a super cost saver when preparing meats and leftovers because buying in bulk is possible.
There is 1” area on the chrome of the food tray that is slightly debrided.
